小大人 is a stop-motion animation about the relationship between a mother and her daughter, and comments on generational trauma. It is inspired by The Brothers Quay, who use puppetry from Mitteleuropa to distort a sense of nostalgia. I try to create the same effect with clinical steel tables and dolls of both East-Asian and Western origin.
