Schopenhauer on Fluoxetine

This Mixed-media painting, ' Schopenhauer on Fluoxetine,' is made by overlaying the painting over a video of soup cooking. It addresses the philosophy of art in relation to mental health, It is inspired by abstract artists such as Fred Free, who uses mixed-media collage to combine juxtaposing images in order to create a dramatically different final picture. I hope that the soup adds some disgust to this piece.
